What is Artist Development with Caron Penney PAYMENT OPTIONS AVAILABLE. Email contact@weftfaced.com Over the past years Caron has developed a knowledge of her art-form through commissioned work for artists and via the development of her own art practice. She would like to share with you her skills, and experience. She is an artist, master weaver, educator and mentor and is a recognised figure in the applied arts community, has exhibited both nationally and internationally and has work in private and public collections. Speaking truthfully about her own artworks development Caron recognises that it takes time for a style to evolve, but there are some important and simple ways of opening yourself up to seeing a change. Artist Development is an in-depth focused mentoring group, for those looking to find more focus and direction to their artwork. Developing your ideas, a style, and focus is essential if you wish to create a strong body of work. The group will start by examining the artwork they have made so far, and discussing why you created it. Artist Development includes three parts. > Part one is for the development of ideas, finding your focus > Part two is reconnecting with your self, your new vision, and working toward a new pathway. > Part three is discussing your aspirations, planning your future and developing a plan. How does it work? There are fifteen Zoom sessions, held every week on Mondays. The course is run in England, United Kingdom. We start on 24th February 2025, and Zoom sessions start at 1:00 - 4.00pm UK time. You can book here or contact us for more information and a free mentoring discovery Zoom call to establish if you are joining the right development workshop for you. Level This workshop is for intermediate to advanced artists, and not beginners. Our specialism is tapestry/textiles and all artists from all mediums are welcome.
